Miami Beach Bandshell to Host Underground Music Legends
Oigovision Superjam brings together members of Anemoia, Electric Kif, Lemon City Trio, and other local bands for a free show celebrating Miami's underground sound.
Some of Miami’s most influential underground musicians will share the stage at Miami Beach Bandshell on February 19, 2026, for an event organizers say could only happen here.
The Oigovision Superjam Volume 1 brings together members of Anemoia, Electric Kif, Lemon City Trio, Twyn, and the Lab — bands that have helped define Miami’s modern sound but rarely perform together. Adrian Gonzalez-Arredondo, the multi-instrumentalist known as OIGO, will host the concert.
“When people think about Miami, they think of South Beach, and that creates an image,” Gonzalez-Arredondo said. “I want to put together unique events where people go, ‘This wouldn’t have happened in any other place but right here.’”
The show also features Anthony “Smurphio” Laurencio, co-founder of Suenalo and Afrobeta, adding another layer to what promises to be a genre-bending night.
Many of the performers trace their connections back to Monkey Village, the nickname for an artist house where musicians gathered to jam and record in the late 1990s and early 2000s. That scene spawned relationships that continue to shape Miami’s underground music community today.
“We’ve been around for 20-something years,” Smurphio said. “We’ve seen the ups and downs of the scene, from clubs everywhere to no clubs, from bands playing a small venue to getting signed by a major label to play a stadium the next week.”
The superjam concept grew from an Oigovision video called “Full Circle,” where many of these artists performed each other’s original music in the studio. The February concert recreates that collaborative spirit live.
Rodrigo “Digo” Zambrano is a Monkey Village veteran, producer, guitarist, and bassist of Electric Kif.
